What’s The HYPP?
Are you, or a young person you know, interested in voicing your opinion, meeting people, developing valuable skills and having fun?
The Higgins Young People’s Panel (HYPP) is an opportunity for people aged 14 – 24 to get involved with The Higgins Bedford. It offers the chance for young people to voice their opinions and ideas, and gain hands on experience developing and delivering cultural and heritage activities.
Everyone is welcome. No previous experience is required, all you need is enthusiasm!
Members meet to discuss upcoming events, exhibitions, community projects and ways to make our programme and the museum more young person friendly.
As a member of the panel, you could have a chance to be involved in:
- Developing activities for different audiences.
- Meeting with other young people.
- Working with arts and heritage professionals.
- Gaining unique experience which can be included in portfolios, CVs and UCAS forms.
- And lots more!
