Continuing Professional Development
Our CPD opportunities for teachers, NQTs and Teaching Assistants include sessions on how a museum visit can enhance learning and cross-curricular work. We can also offer tailor-made courses for your staff on site.
Initial Teacher Training
We are keen to work with ITT providers and their students to highlight the unique, cross-curricular and stimulating learning which can take place in museums and demonstrate how museum learning can help deliver key outcomes for schools.
We can offer:
- Alternative Settings Placements for students with opportunities to run school sessions, plan and run multi-age learning or create resources for schools.
- Training Days on site with opportunities to try out a number of hands-on activities
- Partnerships with local universities to enrich their education courses and offer opportunities for students.
