Explore our art galleries and exhibitions and discover world famous paintings, furniture, arts and crafts, ceramics and glass. Be inspired by the work on display and create your own piece of art.

Self-Led Tours

Groups of all ages are encouraged to visit during public opening hours. Admission to all exhibitions and galleries is free. Please book your visit in advance, so that we can accommodate your group. We can arrange volunteers to support you with your visit, there may be a nominal cost. 

 

Talks

Short talks on some of the collections and exhibitions are offered to students in KS3 and above. There will be a charge for talks and they must be booked in advance.

 

Workshops

From portrait drawing to watercolour painting, mono-printing and lino cutting to making clay models, create your own masterpiece in these immersive workshops inspired by the artworks in our collections and exhibitions.

 

These workshops are aimed at primary age pupils, but lino-cutting sessions are aimed at KS3 and above and have a maximum capacity of 15 students per session.
