Sustainability and sharing are themes for Great Big Green Week in Bedford on Saturday 15 June. There are amazing free events at The Higgins Bedford, John Bunyan Museum and Panacea Museum as part of the national event that celebrates nature and calls us all to action in the protection of our environment.

At The Higgins Bedford
Willow weaving with Bob Collins
FREE Drop-in 11am – 4pm
Try your hand at some simple willow weaving with Bob Collins. This is suitable for all ages and brilliant fun.
Meet the Mend-Up Crew
FREE Drop-in 11am – 4pm
Find out more about the radical art of mending things. You can bring your own textiles and get some help with mending. Or just have a chat with the team.
Recycled Gardening with The Good Life Garden
FREE, Bookable Sessions 11am, 1pm and 3pm
Put your recycling to good use in your garden! Explore your creative side, and learn how to make mini planters, birds feeders and more by using things you would have in your own home. (Recycling materials will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own if you want!) Recommended ages 3+
