A Place of Wellbeing

The museum is developing its role as a place of wellbeing for local people. Just being in a museum increase peoples’ happiness and sense of wellbeing. We have been working with local organisations and people including the Sports Development Unit at the Council; the Bedfordshire and Luton Recovery College; mental health services; Autism Bedfordshire; Access Bedford and Tibbs Dementia Foundation and the Harpur Trust to develop a programme of activity and events to enhance wellbeing.
