Nature’s Playground 

2 – 4pm 

Drop-In. A range of activities for children aged 3 - 8 

Bring your little ones to enjoy some snail-themed fun with the Nature’s Playground team. Enjoy crafts, dressing up, stories and sensory play with Kaye and Meg.  Nature's Playground is a collaboration between Kaye Leidoskope and Meg Oliver from Good Life Garden Bedford.

Whittling Taster Sessions 

Booking Essential

11am till 12:30pm, 1:00pm till 2:30pm and 3:00 pm till 4pm 

Suitable for adults and supervised children aged 10+. Children must be supervised by an adult.

Canopy & Craft taster session with Wilder Lives

Suitable for ages 18+  

 

Join Liz for a relaxing 90 minutes connecting with nature and getting creative. Experience how tuning into the natural world can quiet our minds and stimulate our senses, then harness this inspiration as we explore the calming practice of mindful doodling - zero artistic skill required!

Smartphone Discovery Walk 

Booking Essential

2pm – 3.30pm   

Suitable for adults and children aged 10+. Children must be supervised by an adult. A Smartphone is needed for the workshop.  

  

Join artist Graham Fudger for this creative exploration of the Panacea Gardens. Learn about using your smartphone camera and other apps to connect with nature and discover the beautiful gardens of the Panacea Museum.

Nature Table with BNHS (Bedfordshire Natural History Society) 

11am – 4pm 

Free Event – Drop-In. Suitable for all 

 

Find out more about wildlife, from creepy crawlies to large mammals, that can be found locally. Talk with volunteers from Bedfordshire Natural History Society to find out more about how we can support nature locally.

Grab a bargain for your garden at this community plant stall. The plants are grown and donated by Higgins volunteers, and all the proceeds help to support and develop the gardens around The Higgins Bedford.
