Various curatorial support roles. Research, help with talks, helping with putting up exhibitions.



Why did you decide to volunteer at The Higgins Bedford?

To help audit the natural history collection when was being packed up in 2010/11.



What do you like about volunteering?

Working a museum environment and getting to handle various objects. Being intellectually stimulated. Working with a friendly set of people.



Would you encourage more people to volunteer in their local community?




What do you do while you are not volunteering?

I am half of the County (Beds) Moth Recordership for Bedfordshire Natural History Society. I also edit the Society’s Annual Journal.
